Have you ever feel that you got trapped in the darkness?
Where black is the only thing that seems to be there…
and you’re too helpless to find the light to help you see the white?
What good about life is, it can put you somewhere in between…
If color can affect our mood and emotion, how do you feel when wearing your least favorite color, would it make your day gets worse?
The sky looked grey, and the sun didn’t seem to be there… It was the kind of weather that dropped my mood. My bad mood made me wished that I could stay at home…
However, I needed to fight it and go to Yumaju Coffee Bandung to meet a friend who I haven’t seen for almost ten years. Also, I wanted to interview at least one person for my first “Story” content on “I Wear My Mood.”
I wasn’t sure which outfit to wear. The day was already grey, and I was also going to meet a special one whose favorite color is grey. Then I thought… why not challenged me to wear grey?
Grey is an intermediate color between black and white. It’s probably one of the reasons why I’m not a fan grey: I hate uncertain things.
I felt so cloudy and nervous about finding a person to interview. I never interview a person before!
I decided to mix different styles for my overall look: a grey vest with a white shirt underneath which are smart casual and combine them with my washed black ripped jeans.
Even though I’ve decided to challenge myself, I need at least one thing to comfort me. I love to wear heels, so I decided to wear my white transparent wedges shoes.
Since my outfit looked simple and only has two color tones, I want to add varieties by wearing a gold watch and earrings. I chose to wear black and white earrings because it’s a color combination to make grey.
I wear Karl Lagerfeld Yellow Gold Zip Double Strap Women’s Stainless Steel Watch. I love geometry and gold hardware. Many people mistakenly thought that watch was s a bracelet and that’s one of the reasons why I also love it. It has a zipper in the middle of it to divide it into two straps.
I was surprised by how that day turned to be. I met so many interesting people and interviewed 3 people in Yumaju Coffee. All of them have so many interesting stories and ideas to share. Read their stories on #iwearmystories!
Uncertainties are scary but the surprises that come from it may certainly change your life for good. It was the day I started to like grey and uncertainties… I was thankful for the woman I interviewed in “Certainly Wear Uncertainty,” who change my perspectives seeing grey.
There is no white when there is no black.
An opposite exists to create a definition for one another.
When you are finally able to blend white and black together,
you’ll be surprised at how grey can create unlimited definitions.
Nowadays, so many people do a photo shoot and take photos of themselves in public places to make a living or just to post it on social media. I began to wonder how do they feel when doing a photoshoot?
